About Us
Paws@Vet operates at a location that, for the last ten years, was occupied by a non-for-profit Animal Clinic. Under the leadership of Dr. Carlos, the quality of the medical services provided at this location was updated over the years 2022 and 2023. Paws@Vet is a newly established family business, that does not have the benefits of the government or the financial support of a non-profit organization; however, Paws@Vet is committed to continue bringing improvements to both clients and patients while keep offering affordable prices.
The staff at Paws@Vet is devoted to providing a higher level of experience to our clients and the best possible quality care to their highly valued Pets.
Dr. Carlos
Dr. Carlos Deulofeu is native from Cuba. He was deeply connected with Pets throughout his childhood, and it was this connection and a famous TV Show of the time "The Man and the Earth" that made him want to dedicate his adult life to animals. He became a Veterinary Technician in 1989. In 1995 he graduated from the Cuban Agriculture University of Havana (ISCAH). He came to the United States in 2012 and obtained his Veterinary License in the State of Florida in 2015. Dr. Carlos relocated to Cape Coral in 2016 and became the Veterinarian Responsible for the non-for-profit Paws Lee County in 2022; however, the founder of the non-profit decided to continue with Paws Lee County in a separate way as a Charitable Organization. Still, you can find Dr. Carlos in this new project called "Paws®Vet"
"I strongly support that professionalism and mutual respect are the cornerstone of a healthy relationship within the Veterinary field and with Clients/Patients. I do not only give the best of myself as a professional by being committed to high-level surgical skills and compassionate-comprehensive health care, but I am also an advocate of medical communication; it is to me to find the way to effectively explain a medical condition as a result of a wellness exam or other and to effectively answer any question or doubt that you might have. I would put logical reasoning in my words, I would draw a drawing, and I would use common sense in my explanations. My goal is for you to apprehend the medical perspective and to understand that
your Pet is the Priority"
